Purpose
We are looking for a
Senior Sportsbook Executive
to run the day-to-day operation and performance of our online sportsbook. Your mission will be to elevate the player’s experience, keep the operation running safely and smoothly, and drive commercial outcomes through sharp execution, clear controls, and constant optimization. This role is fundamental to scaling Sportsbook Operations with a customer-first, compliant, and high-performance mindset.
In this role, you’ll
Own the day-to-day Sportsbook operation, ensuring consistent experience across events, content, and product execution.
Monitor key performance and customer KPIs (stakes, GGR, margin, active users, engagement) and translate insights into clear, actionable plans.
Coordinate the delivery and visibility of promotions and local activations, partnering with CRM, Marketing, VIP, and Product teams to maximize impact.
Maintain high standards of presentation and execution (e.g., event calendars, website presentation, promotional materials), in line with BetWarrior brand guidelines.
Oversee core operational tools and providers (e.g., Kambi, streaming services, trading support), escalating incidents with urgency and precision.
Support peak moments (major tournaments, high-traffic weekends) through proactive planning, risk awareness, and flawless execution.
Participate in scheduled business reviews with management, providing evidence of execution and results against defined plans.
Bring competitive intelligence and market context to the table, recommending improvements to UX/UI, features, and operational processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, responsible gaming policies, internal controls, and BetWarrior procedures.
Maintain a strong control environment through accurate documentation, timely reporting, and adherence to betting control guidelines and authority limits.
What we look for in an exceptional candidate
3+ years of experience in sportsbook operations, trading support, iGaming operations, or a closely related role.
Strong understanding of sportsbook performance drivers and the ability to balance player experience, profitability, and risk.
Hands-on analytical skills: Excel mastery and comfort working with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau to build and interpret dashboards.
Ability to document, report, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders (Customer Support, Marketing, Product, Legal, Finance, IT).
High ownership and attention to detail, with a proven track record of shipping on time in fast-moving environments.
Bonus points if you also have
Experience working directly with Kambi or other sportsbook platforms, streaming providers, or third-party integrations.
Background in responsible gaming, compliance controls, or operating within regulated markets.
Fluent written and spoken English and/or Portuguese skills
Experience supporting new market launches or scaling operations through process design and automation.
Comfortable collaborating on UX/UI improvements and feature adoption initiatives.
