JOB SUMMARY:
This team member provides an entertaining, fun atmosphere for guests while dealing Table Games according to the rules of the
particular game being played, and in accordance with Resort & Casino policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities outlined here are representative of those that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, are not all inclusive:
- Deals Table Games to guests according to the rules of the game being played.
- Conducts the games in accordance with the Resort & Casino’s policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying supervisors of any irregularities to ensure protection and integrity of the game.
- Advises supervisors of guest disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
- Maintains a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere providing the guest with a pleasant gaming and entertainment experience.
- Maintains an orderly table, as well as an appropriate game speed in a courteous manner.
- Remains knowledgeable of River Club benefits, Resort & Casino amenities, and marketing programs.
- Remains knowledgeable of all Table Games Department policies and standard operating procedures.
- Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Resort & Casino.
- Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by Win-River Resort & Casino’s guest service program.
- Other duties as assigned by the Table Games Manager.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is required.
- Must complete and pass the Resort & Casino’s table games training course.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
The experience and knowledge requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, higher levels of experience and knowledge than required may be reflected during the recruitment process:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- One (1) year of external dealing experience is required and may serve as a substitution for successful completion of the Resort & Casino’s table games training course.
- The ability to deal all games required by management is required.
- The ability to deal from a multi-deck shoe and follow the 21 dealing manual with exact precision is required.
- A strong proficiency in mathematics, including addition and subtraction, is required.
- The ability to handle cash transactions is required.
- Thorough knowledge and working skill of each assigned game is required.
- The ability to remain focused on game protection at all times is required.
- Strong verbal communication skills, to effectively communicate with guests and team members of the Resort & Casino, are required.
- The ability to perform job functions in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently is required.
- The ability to successfully complete a live audition may be required.
- The ability to pass a dealer competency exam on all games may be required at any time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Frequently stands and walks.
- Occasionally reaches below shoulder level.
- Occasionally lifts/carries up to ten (10) pounds is required.
