About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sports Operations Manager with Spanish and/or Portuguese to oversee and optimize sportsbook operations in these regions. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of sportsbook data and feeds while collaborating with trading, product, and technology teams to resolve issues, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to develop hands-on expertise in sportsbook operations and analytics within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily sportsbook operations by ensuring all pre-match and live events are accurately configured, monitored, and maintained according to company standards

• Monitor and validate data feeds, odds movement, and event integrity to ensure accurate and timely delivery of information across platforms

• Collaborate with trading, product, customer service, and technology teams to resolve operational or data-related issues and maintain seamless sportsbook performance

• Analyze sportsbook performance metrics - including turnover, margin, player activity, and betting trends -to identify risks, anomalies, and opportunities for growth

• Monitor sportsbook exposure, liabilities, and betting behavior to detect suspicious activity or potential integrity issues, escalating findings where appropriate

• Support the evaluation of sportsbook campaigns and promotions by analyzing player behavior, performance metrics, and conversion results to drive optimization

• Participate in the testing and implementation of new sportsbook features, tools, and applications, preparing test scenarios, executing manual tests, and documenting defects to ensure system quality and reliability

• Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards to support management decisions, performance tracking, and process improvements

• Stay informed about major sports events, schedules, and market developments to ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely sportsbook coverage

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and/or Portuguese

• A sports enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a strong desire to learn and develop within sportsbook operations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy

• Solid understanding of sports and betting markets (football, basketball, tennis, etc.) is a plus

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with BI tools or data platforms is a plus

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments

• High level of accountability and ownership of assigned operational tasks

• Eagerness to learn and develop a career within the sportsbook and sports operations industry

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, during major sporting events
