The Opportunity

Hammond Care’s Social clubs provide a social environment where Older people can take a break from their home environment, connect with their Community and spend a day socialising while being supported by our talented team of Specialised Carers.

Available shifts: Monday & Wednesday - 8am to 4pmResponsibilities

• This opportunity delivers care within our Social Club in Casino
• Our Specialised Carers provide care in the Social Club that offer socialisation and supervision, according to each client’s care plan
• The Cottage provides organised activities and events for Clients to enjoy, including social outings and excursions for People living with dementia
• In some cases, you’ll have an opportunity to go offsite and provide care and supervision for our Clients, and this would mean having the capacity to drive a 12-Seater Bus

*Hourly Rates: $33.78 to $36.50- P/H *What do you need to apply?

• No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III Individual Support is an advantage
• First Aid certificate desirable
• Working With Children Check
• Empathy and compassion are a must
• We provide job training as long as you have the willingness and desire to learn
• Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone
• A strong team player, who can communicate professionally changes in care, complete all documentation, whilst maintaining confidentiality.​
• Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
