Under the direction of the Slot Manager perform the repair and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical slot machine assemblies to include electronic board components and video monitor repair.  In addition, the incumbent in this position is responsible to promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • *Responsible for the floor repair and proper preventative maintenance of all slot machines, including overhauls, bill validators, and printers, etc.

  • *Responsible for the repair, overhaul, and proper preventative maintenance of all electrical and mechanical slot machines, including bill validators and printers, in accordance with gaming regulations.

  • *Responsible for maintaining and updating bill validator and printer firmware in accordance with gaming regulations.

  • Repair all monitors, MPU boards, I/O boards, driver boards and integrated circuits, bill validators, and printers.

  • Instruct training programs to slot technicians for preventive maintenance.

  • Maintain current knowledge of casino-related equipment, support equipment, new games, systems, and modifications to existing equipment.

  • Maintain parts and electronic components inventory of Bench repair area and machine parts inventory.

  • Assist in ensuring machine integrity when jackpots occur and at other times requested.

  • Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, tribal, and state) and attendant regulations, as well as the PCCH’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.

  • Promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.

  • Provide exceptional service to our guests and Team Members when performing job duties and conduct oneself in a professional and businesslike manner to reflect the Casino's high standard of excellence.

  • Maintain an acceptable, consistent, and regular attendance record.

  • Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Three years of verifiable bench technician experience is required.

  • Associate of Science degree preferred.

  • Ability to read and comprehend electronic component symbols, blueprints, schematic drawings, short correspondence, and memos is required.

  • Must be able to understand AC/DC theory, including the ability to identify wire color codes, resistor ratings, capacitors, transistors, transformers, ICs, etc.

  • Ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.

  • Must display professionalism when representing PCCH.

  • Must work well with people, possess excellent guest service skills, and have sensitivity to diverse cultures.

  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy are required.

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
