JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for Security/Safety/Loss Control Operations during assigned shift to promote a secure environment in line with Quinault Beach Resort & Casinos' company philosophy, while maintaining an emphasis on customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Maintain an awareness of company and departmental policies, procedures and rules.
Maintain awareness of current laws, case laws, rules and regulations relating to any aspect of Security.
Monitor and promote compliance.
May staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop and monitor subordinate personnel. Assign work, grant overtime and early outs, discipline and train employees and recommend wage increases and promotions.
Take appropriate measures to promote the safety of customers, guests and employees.
Conduct routine and established patrols, observation, prevention and reporting during assigned shift.
Promote the courteous treatment of customers and employees including, but not limited to customer and employee complaints.
Promote and monitor the confidential treatment of all relevant information.
Provide for the effective documentation of shift activities.
Promote ongoing effective communications with QBR&C personnel and outside agencies.
Determine and implement appropriate courses of action as dictated by events.
Assist Security Director and Security Manager in recommending, establishing and maintaining the control necessary to the achievement of department goals.
Assist in internal and external investigations.
Maintain a positive working relationship with other Security organizations, Law Enforcement Agencies, City, County, State and Federal Entities.
Promote proper treatment and effective use of assigned equipment and supplies.
Perform the duties of subordinate personnel as required.
Perform department-related duties as required.
Additional or continued education certificates in related fields.
Such other job-related duties as may be assigned by management.
