Key Responsibilities
- Deal poker games accurately and efficiently according to house rules and gaming regulations
- Responsible for the Table Tray Bank assigned for the shift.
- Manage bets and payouts, ensuring correct chip exchanges and pot calculations
- Monitor player behavior to prevent cheating and maintain game integrity
- Explain rules and procedures to players, especially newcomers
- Collect rake and handle chip transactions with precision
- Maintain a professional demeanor and promote positive guest relations
- Report discrepancies or disputes to the Poker Floor Supervisor
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during long shifts
- Excellent manual dexterity for shuffling and dealing cards
- Solid math skills for quick mental calculations
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified dealer training program (preferred)
- Prior experience dealing poker in a casino setting
