ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers and offer assistance when needed
  • Suggestive sell complementary items and items on promo
  • Tell customers about the benefits of the Star Saver program
  • Operate the cash register, lottery, money order, and other electronic equipment in an efficient manner to ensure speedy service is given
  • Stock coolers, fill fountain/coffee equipment with product, rotate/restock shelves
  • Bag ice
  • Empty trash, inside and outside
  • Clean restrooms to Royal Restroom standards
  • Wipe counters, doors, sweep and mop floors/mats as needed
  • Follow proper check-in procedures to accept deliveries from vendors
  • Complete shift duty assignments
  • Contribute to a positive atmosphere by providing excellent customer service and being a team player who works accurately and exhibits professionalism in the work place.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work any area of the c-store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
  • Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Must have a passion for customer service while exhibiting exceptional people skills and a desire to excel!
