Summary Statement:
The Lead Representative, Casino Credit is responsible for assisting in the daily Credit operations and providing support to the management team with implementing and achieving department goals. This position will work alongside the Credit Representatives and perform administrative functions while providing guidance and assistance. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Resorts World policies and procedures.
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
- Monitor and verify Clerks’ performance to ensure accuracy on things such as the coordination, gathering and entering of data from credit applications and reports, as well as the collected bank and gaming history information.
- Support the Manager of Casino Credit and Credit Executives with implementing and achieving department goals that support the overall property strategic tactics.
- Manage Human Resources responsibilities to include quality training, staff motivation, feedback and development, promotions, and discipline.
- Assist management with conducting the training of new hires and existing staff as needed.
- Provide effective feedback to ensure the department is providing the high level of service as expected.
- Ensure all daily reporting is printed, posted, and distributed appropriately.
- Maintain documents and file information according to departmental procedures and ensure compliance.
- Assist with inquiries from credit clerks, customers, and internal company representatives.
- Ensure compliance with Title 31 and AML/SARC compliance policies and procedures.
- Assist Casino Marketing, Executives and other external requests as needed.
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to:
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (example Word, Excel).
- Working knowledge of gaming regulations.
- Working knowledge of a currency counter
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- At least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of previous casino credit experience in a similar or related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain the following:Nevada Gaming Registration
