Job Purpose: Manager Housekeeping team members to ensure the Casino is keeping high standards regarding cleanliness in both public access areas of the casino and private office area. Monitors closely the condition and maintenance of all accommodation and public area. Collects aud submits time for department, creates schedules, manages cleaning/approves department cleaning schedules.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for keeping the areas around gaming machines clean and clear from trash.

  • Develop and implement an ongoi11g scheme of job safety standards, i.e. Hazcom, and Bloodborne Pathogens.

  • Responsible for checking and signing delivery invoices.

  • Responsible for stocking items in BOH storage.

  • Fill out requisitions at end of each shift.

  • Tum in invoices and orders to Purchasing Manager.

  • Fill and deliver requisitioned items to appropriate storage closets at the end of each shift.

  • Submits forms to Property Manager.

  • Responsible for the team members, stock levels, invento1y, and control of supplies.

  • Responsible for completing inventory count at midnight on the last day of the month/year.

  • Responsible for keeping restroom areas clean and sanitary. Replenish bathroom supplies.

  • Regularly check appearance and uniformsĀ of the staff.

  • Check that the attitude is always exceptional.

  • Ensure that operating equipment is always in perfect working condition.

  • Duties include dusting, vacuuming, wiping down gaming machines, emptying trash cans and ashtrays.

  • Be aware of special promotions within the casino.

  • Provide friendly and courteous customer service.

  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting, standing, walking for lengthy periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

  • Ability to remember information such as words, numbers, pictures, and procedures.

  • Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Working Conditions:

  • Typical of that in a busy casino with heavy cigarette smoke accompanied with a variety of competing noises and communications.

  • Flexible hours (weekends, nights, holidays).

Minimum Qualifications for consideration:

  • Ability to use standard janitorial supplies and equipment.

  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and staff.

  • Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibility.
