SUMMARY:

Regularly provides technical assistance for the Company’s video poker customer base with matters related to their on-line video poker machines and is fluent in the State’s video poker Network and software.  Regularly provides technical assistance for the Company’s hot tub customer base with matters relating to the installation, maintenance and repair of hot tubs sold by Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of the AMA Field Service Representative, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job’s description.

  • Primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance and is directly related to the management and general business operations of the Company and its customers
  • Responsible for onsite, verbal, email, or text customer service technical calls Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM; provide technical guidance on customers issues
  • Be able to travel to customer locations for technical repairs on video poker machines, jukeboxes, amusement devices and hot tubs; this sometimes will require overnight stays
  • Responsible for installing and/or assisting customers with the installation of machines or hot tubs.
  • Communicate/coordinate with the Parts Department on the needs of customers from technical calls
  • Diagnose/troubleshoot issues with devices and make repairs as necessary
  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of machines and hot tubs, new/used/refurbished, prior to sale
  • Communicate reoccurring issues to upper management to help identify wide spread problems and/or glitches in hardware/software
  • Assist in the coordination of upgrades of customers' equipment as needed
  • Assist in the upgrading of customers’ equipment as needed
  • Create technical guidance/advisory notifications to assist customers with operations and diagnosing problems related to their equipment
  • Help create, maintain, and moderate a technical forum on behalf of the company for customers
  • Reports to work on time, as directed by Management, and completes all duties in a timely manner
  • Performs above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating the information as needed effectively

The physical demands of this job include light physical activity performing light strenuous activities of an administrative, productive and/ or technical nature that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.  The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to sit, and use hands to finger, handle or feel.

The employee must occasionally lift 10, 25, and up to 50 pounds and will also need to kneel, squat, and/or reach while working.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a warehouse environment and locations in the bar, restaurant, and/or casino industry.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly work in wet humid conditions and in outdoor weather conditions. The employee must frequently work near moving mechanical parts and must occasionally work in high, precarious places in extreme cold. The employee must also work in and around trucks.

The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate.
