DUTIES:

  • Oversees all aspects of the Casino Marketing Department and ensures the department operates in an efficient and effective manner.

  • Create comprehensive Marketing plan for short term and long range to reach revenue objectives.

  • Assists in the preparation of annual budgets and monitors event costs to ensure budgetary compliance.

  • Works with Senior Management to develop, implement, and maintain customer base establishing standards and strategies to accomplish objectives.

  • Evaluates promotional data for results and adjusts plan based on effectiveness.

  • Plans and controls content creation across digital channels, and creates data driven promotional campaigns.

  • Focuses on the creation of brand awareness campaigns and tracks success.

  • Manages outside data collection and oversees outside agencies.

  • Develops proposals and outlines special events, coordinates event logistics to ensure outstanding execution.

  • Researches and monitors financial, technical, and demographic issues to capitalize on market opportunities.

  • Manages Player Development by tracking database and engagement programs.

  • Coordinates with the Player Develop Manager to develop, coordinate, and implement player programs.

  • Coordinates with the Guest Services Manager to establish standards.

  • Establishes effective line of communication to maintain a constant flow of information upward and downward to ensure a favorable gaming experience for our players.

  • Improves staff effectiveness through coaching, counseling, and training. Recommends disciplinary action and appraises job performance and results in a timely manner.

  • Acts as a guest liaison, handles guests concerns, and resolves situations to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service across the entire Marketing Dept.

  • Understands, adheres to, and creates Marketing Standards, policy and procedure.

  • Ensures compliance with all Northern Arapaho Gaming Agency (NAGA) policy and procedure: Including all Internal Control Standards.

  • All other duties as assigned.

  • CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Must be dependable, reliable, and able and willing to work long shifts including peak hours, promotions, holidays, and weekends.

  • Must continue to be licensable under the requirements of the Northern Arapaho Gaming Agency.

  • Native American preference applies.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • Three to Five years prior casino experience in marketing in lieu of degree.

  • Comprehension understanding of player tracking system.

  • Basic knowledge of website development.

  • Must be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must have a good project management skill as well as strong oral and written skills.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSTITON:

  • Must have knowledge of policies procedures and report any and all violations.

  • Must have supervisory skills, administrative skills, conflict resolutions skills and be computer literate.

  • Must have the ability to manage and supervise professionally.

  • Must have ability to communicate orally and in writing to help resolve problems and expedite work or service.

  • Must have ability to manage critical deadlines, priorities effective and efficiently.

  • Must have significant experience in a gaming environment with emphasis policies and procedures.

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

  • Must be able to work in a second hand, high noise, bright lights, and dust environment.

  • Must have good manual and finger dexterity.

  • Must have good eyesight for prolonged periods of concentration.

  • Must have ability to deal with and adapt to frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events at times.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 21 at time of hire

  • Must have High School Diploma, or GED

  • Must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.

  • Must be able to pass a background investigation.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
