Emerald Queen Casino & Hotel is now accepting applications for our FREE EQC Party Pit Dealer School designed to train the next generation of dealers for our new Party Pit, a high-energy, entertainment-driven table games experience where gaming meets music, movement, and nonstop action.
This free program is open to both tribal members and all other applicants. No prior dealing experience is required.
EQC Party Pit Dealer School begins March 6, 2026, runs for eight weeks with classes held two hours per day and is offered at no cost.
What You Will Learn:
During Dealer School, participants will be trained to:
Professionally deal Blackjack games
Accurately and efficiently pay out guest winnings
Maintain game pace and integrity in a fast-moving environment
Deliver outstanding guest service and interactive entertainment
Build stage presence and Party Pit personality
*After successful completion of dealer training, each applicant will be eligible to audition for a Table Games Dealer position with EQC. Please note participation with this training program and auditioning for a position does not guarantee an offer of employment.*Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and move for longer than 8 hours
Ability to use math with good hand-eye coordination with finger dexterity
Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment
Additional Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
All applicants must obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
