Provides outstanding customer service and interaction according to the policies and standards set forth by the company.  Oversees the operation on a daily basis for the assigned shift for the entire casino including table games, slots, poker and interfacing with the sports book. Must know scheduling, casino operations, and have ability to perform Manager on Duty functions as prescribed by the company for entire property.

Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Must have ability to train all floor staff in the function and performance of their duties.
  • Oversees Floor Supervisors as they perform their assigned duties, as well as the ability to follow all functions of the floor supervisors position;
  • Watches participants in games such as dice, roulette or cards to detect cheating, identify rule violators, and observe persons designated by superior.
  • Speaks or signals to supervising personnel using hand, telephone, or voice to identify and supply information about suspected violators.
  • Examines dice periodically to check for damage or substitution.
  • Calculates winnings to verify payment made by dealer.
  • Thorough knowledge of the table games offered by the company including the dealing procedures, payouts, cheque handling and game protection.
  • Thorough knowledge of all gaming regulations and internal controls.
  • Knowledge of or the ability to learn slot floor operations including jackpots, overrides, voids, ticket-in-ticket-out functions, etc.
  • Outgoing personality able to communicate well in all conditions, and able to respond in a positive manner to customer or employee issues and turn negative situations into positive ones, and make the guest experience the best possible.
  • Ensure integrity of the “String” rotation.
  • Strictly enforces the Hooters Casino Hotel “Go for Your Own” policy including hustling.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of casino operations experience, or according to property requirement, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years supervisory experience
  • Bilingual

Licenses:

  • Gaming Registration
  • Alcohol Awareness Card

Machinery or Work Equipment Used:

  • PC, printer, copier, color monitor
