POSITION SUMMARY:
The Analyst, Casino Systems has a wide breadth of technical skills that bridges the support and project gaps between infrastructure, IT application development staffs and corporate IT support teams.
He / She reports to Manager – Casino Systems and performs daily application support, new project implementation and life cycle management of Casino Systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains and provides L2 shared services support for complex enterprise based Casino systems across the Company at various geographical locations.
- Proactively builds up new knowledge base to provide fundamental technical guidance for L1 & L1.5 support staff to able to resolve the relevant incidents / requests as first calls resolution.
- Performs in-house technical training for L1, L1.5 support and other IT staff as required.
- Learns business application knowledge in depth and suggests improvement if necessary.
- Supports key project deliverables and works within defined project plan timelines.
- Participates in the identification and resolution of moderately complex application problems and procedures, suggesting solutions to identified problems.
- Responds to issues, questions and requests related to Casino Systems. Works with system development team and attends end user training classes and/or presentation as required.
- Monitors and ensures service level agreement (SLA) is met.
- Teams up with other Support Specialist to perform IT systems support function.
- Recommends and/or executes management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign or discipline employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant IT enterprise system or support experience required
- Requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, and performing current state system analysis.
- Experiences should include implementation and support of application systems.
- Possess experience in 24x7 large operations support environment is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant qualifications.
